WEDDING CO-ORDINATOR
My favourite part of the job is meeting the soon to be bride and groom, I love hearing their love story and how they met and getting excited with them for their special day! ? I believe that first interaction is the most important, as it’s a great way to build the foundations so I know exactly what they are looking for.
I love seeing everything come together on the big day and seeing how happy the couple are!
My role is to oversee the day, making sure everything runs smoothly and if anyone needs any assistance, I am on hand to help the operations team. My main priority is making sure the newlyweds and their guests are as happy and relaxed as they can be.
I believe the perfect venue is like love at first sight. You get that warm fuzzy feeling and just know that it is the one. However, some keys points to look out for are:
Beautiful grounds which are perfect for wedding photos or beautiful interiors if you looking for a winter wedding
The décor is something to their style and taste
How friendly and attentive the staff are on your show around
How well they have connected with their wedding coordinator whilst on their show around
If the space sizes can accommodate their needs
I would suggest creating a timeline or check list. It can be very overwhelming at first and a structured timeline can make it easier for the couple if they do not know where to start.
Spend lots of time with friends and family to help relieve any nerves or stress, have a lovely meal and a glass of something lovely and enjoy the excitement you feel!
Such a special day deserves a location that reflects the beauty and enormity of the occasion, our beautiful gardens and romantic Georgian architecture create a picturesque backdrop for the perfect day. As the building was built in the 1790’s, we have some beautiful vintage styled rooms alongside some recently refurbished rooms, to provide two very different styles throughout the hotel to meet any taste. Our stunning bridal suite is designed in a very elegant and ‘Lady of the Manor’ way. We have a very friendly and efficient team on hand to make the couples big day extra special, including myself, who will be there every step of the way to help bring creative ideas or help bring everything together for those who already know exactly what they desire.
