Summertime Events Coming to Burnham

As we approach the peak of British summer, there are a number of exciting events coming up which many of you may be planning on attending. The two major occasions which spring to mind are arguably the most popular English summertime events, bringing people together and giving us all an excuse to dress up and enjoy the glorious sun! They’re both just a short drive away from our hotel and over the years have brought an extra bit of fun to our guest experience.

Royal Ascot

Britain’s most prestigious horse race meeting, The Royal Ascot, brings the finest racehorses together to compete for millions of pounds. Aside from all the racing excitement and competitive nature, the event is also famous for its luxurious attire which many attendees have relished over the years.

With a history as rich as it is long, Royal Ascot sits proudly as the jewel in the crown of the British social season. Five days of unparalleled racing, style, Fine Dining and pageantry return in full for the majesty. Wimbledon

The oldest and most prestigious tennis championship in the world. Wimbledon has been home of the Tennis since 1877. Wimbledon’s buzzing community welcomes fans from all over as the tennis heavy weights from around the world come together to compete for a town week period.

Much like the Royal Ascot, this famous event captures the British summertime excitement and traditions for world wide spectators to see. A fantastic day out for all family and friends and is located not too far away from our hotel.
