Saint Sophie Cathedral
Saint Sophie Cathedral is a Greek Orthodox church in London’s Bayswater area. The interior of the church is extravagantly decorated with multicoloured marble and stunning Byzantine-inspired mosaics. In 1882, the church was consecrated for the Greek population that had migrated to London. Regular Saturday and Sunday services are held at the Saint Sophie Cathedral, which includes an angelic Greek polyphonic choir and Byzantine music. The Saint Sophie Cathedral is only a 3-minute drive, 10-minute tube ride of a 15-minute walk away from our hotel.
